I spent five years teaching in Massachusetts classrooms before turning my focus to early literacy: the most important stage for developing reading skills and a lifelong love of learning.

I am working currently towards my Master's degree in Special Education and Orton-Gillingham certification. I'm deeply passionate about the science of reading and early literacy.

This site is home to my classroom resources, lesson plans, and the children's books I write to support that mission — starting with 'Caterpillar and the Dark'.
